Armor – Shaped Cowl in Frullesk

This cowl goes further than your average cowl. The extension at the front follows the line of your neck without any bulk and it insulates as the knit ensures cold air does not pass through air holes. Instead it is sleek, stylish and fully protected.
The cowl is knitted with the Frullesk-technique and the woven effect of this technique is clearly visible.

You start at the bottom of the cowl. You work several rounds in ribstitch. You continue with short rows to create the extension in the front. After that you go back to knitting in the round for the remainder of the cowl. At the top, you knit a decorative edge and you should bind off with a grafted cast off.
